About Us:
We are the Natomas Teachers' Association. We are the teachers in the classroom with your children. We are professional men and women with a passion for teaching. We are teachers who embrace the responsibility to educate the youth of the Natomas Community. We are convinced that the children of the Natomas Community benefit most when the teachers in classroom are valued and recognized for what they are-the teachers of your children.

  Ask The Teacher:

Ask the Teacher is a community service provided by the Natomas Teachers' Association with the purpose to empower parents with a pathway of influence into Natomas Schools. Parental input is invaluably necessary for the betterment of our schools, and it is our hope that parents will take advantage of this opportunity. Any and every question is welcomed. Just click on Ask the Teacher, fill out the information boxes, write your question, and then hit send! We will respond to each question asked.

  Parent Forum:

The Natomas Teachers' Association regards parent-to-parent communication between the parents of our students as very important. Most of us live extremely busy lives. Oftentimes it is difficult to consistently take time out to talk about school issues with other parents. That is why the Natomas Teachers' Association is providing a Parent Forum with the intent to increase communication between parents.

This may be the beginning of something great for the parents of our Natomas Schools.

Please log-on and be part of our growing Parent Forum. --- Coming Soon...

Parent-Teacher-Community Forum:
The First Annual Parent-Teacher-Community Forum was held at Inderkum High School last May. The PTC Forum's purpose is to build bridges of communication between parents, teachers, and the community to better Natomas Schools. As the first PTC Forum teachers and students took part in a delightful presentation highlighting both the wonderful, and the concerning, happenings in Natomas Schools. Topics ranged from GATE, to Safety, to Adanced Placement (AP), to Cultural dancing, and much, much more.

It was a successful start to something we hope to see grow bigger and bigger each year. A Parent-Teacher-Community Forum Committee has formed to further our goals. If you are interested in being an agent for positive change in our schools, please contact Leslie Sargent at 916-567-5640 or lsargent@natomas.k12.ca.us.
